EMINENCE em·i·nence (a natural rise or hill)
"the Eminence"
A long hill out on the high plains of Wyoming
from which the Willie Company first saw the rescuers and the rescuers first saw the Willie Company.
"The Eminence" is located
very close to where we will be camped at the Willie Center by Sixth Crossing.
This is a sacred hill as the Willie Company
was about to succumb from hunger and cold. As the Willie Company saw the rescuers descending towards them, there was a shout
that could be heard throughout camp, and the songs of Zions were heard again in camp that night.
